Finca La Soledad is a family-run, biodynamic farm situated in the Intag Valley of northern Ecuador. Developed collaboratively alongside renowned coffee farmer Pepe Jijón, Cloud Forest is an estate blend of washed coffees that elegantly showcases Ecuador's terroir. The primary component of this blend comes from a Sydra hybrid lot that was planted in 2011, the oldest lot still producing on the farm. This coffee is just funky enough while still pouring a remarkably clean cup, with tropical undertones of ripe melon and cacao with a citric, tea-like florality in the finish.
This coffee was sourced directly from farm to cup. We have been working with Finca La Soledad for several years, and this partnership represents an intimate relationship we have with a producer and their surrounding community at origin.
